When he had not hung shoes, Steven Gerrard spent most of his career from his career to devote to Liverpool, the team helped him grow up. After stopping playing, the former LA Galaxy midfielder moved to Liverpool U18 and U19 teams, then took part in Rangers, Aston Villa and Al Ettifiq.
During the working time for Rangers (from 2018 to 2021), Steven Gerrard helped the Scottish representative win the national championship in the 2020/21 season. Notably, coach Gerrard proved to be very “cool” in Rangers when the win rate was up to 64.8% (win 125, draw 42, lost 26).
Earlier last year, coach Gerrard extended his contract with Al Ettifaq until the summer of 2027. However, at the end of January this year, the parties agreed “everyone’s way to go” earlier than the agreement. At Al ettifiq, Gerrard’s win rate is only 39% (winning 23, drawing 16, losing 20).
Since leaving Al ettifiq, Steven Gerrard has been living in Bahrain and his family. The Daily Mail confirmed that the former midfielder’s family was comfortable with life in the Middle East. Even so, the 44 -year -old military leader still felt that it was time for me to return to work.
With the familiarity of the Scottish football environment and having experience working for Rangers, it is likely that Gerrard coach will soon be appointed as the new captain of the Ibrox Stadium.
