The Red Devils have long been interested in the British striker, but has never reached an agreement with Tottenham – the club they are about to confront in the European Cup final, where not only has the title but also the Champions League in the next season is waiting.
Kane broke the “empty curse” in 2025, when he won the Bundesliga championship with Bayern Munich, and sparked many rumors about the possibility of returning to the Premier League in the near future.
Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be interested in Kane, and only teams that can compete at the highest level can attract the 31 -year -old striker to return home. Man United expect them to return to the big stage in the 2025/26 season, with a frantic transfer that is being planned at Old Trafford.
However, former Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann, who used to play in the UK, was skeptical about the possibility of Kane joining Man United.
He told Bettinglounge.co.uk: “Many people think that the Bundesliga is not as strong as the Premier League and Bayern surpasses the rest. But Kane is playing for a strong team, creating many opportunities, which helps him become the current number one striker.”
“I believe that he is still at the peak 5 years-although it is not sure enough to move as the present-but in the next 1-2 seasons, it is certainly the same.”
Hamann emphasized that the Europa League final will be the decisive factor to Man United’s transfer goals. He said: “Man United will only start the price after the Europa League final. If they do not win tickets to the Champions League, no life can attract a player like Harry Kane.”
“This is a very significant transfer, which can change the season of Man United and Tottenham. I think this is the Europa League final to wait for the most years.”
Hamann also made it clear: “The only way for Man United to attract Kane is to win the Champions League tickets and spend £ 300 million to bring many top players this summer. If not, I don’t see that happened.”
For his part, Harry Kane has not shown any signs that he wanted to leave Bayern, where he won two titles of the Bundesliga scorer in a row and still had a contract until the summer of 2027.
